Meet the Gottliebs

Paul and Shekina Gottlieb are the Lead Pastors at Harvest Community Church. They have been married for 17 years and have three children. Paul tricked Shekina into going on their first date by setting up a meeting with their friends and then asking them not to show up except for Shekina. God forgave Paul for being sneaky and the two have been in love ever since. Together they have served in full-time ministry for over 20 years.

Paul has a wide range of ministry experience having worked as a Young Adult Pastor, a Professional Baseball Chaplin, and as the Sr. Associate Pastor of Bethel Church in San Jose.

Shekina is an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God. She has led ministry for all age groups and most recently served as the Women's Ministry Director for Bethel Church in San Jose.

Paul and Shekina have a deep passion for the Word of God. They believe the local church is called to outreach its community, challenge people to grow spiritually, and equip multi-generational leaders to make a great impact. They have a unique style of ministry that shares God's truth in creative, humorous, and challenging ways.
