Healing & Prayer

How often have you faced one of life’s challenges and you’d wish someone was there for you to pray with you? The Bible instructs Christ’s church to help meet this ongoing need. God’s Word, says,"Are any of you suffering hardships? You should pray. ..Are any of you sick? You should call for the elders of the church to come and pray over you, anointing you with oil in the name of the Lord. Such a prayer offered in faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will make you well." (James 5:13-15)

At Harvest, we include a personal prayer time (we call it “Elders Prayer), during the worship portion of our service. We believe the Lord’s desire is to heal people. Healing means “wholeness” which is not limited to the physical. We invite people to pray over anything that is burdensome to their lives.

Our desire is to extend the compassionate, healing graces of Jesus to all who attend our services. Even if you are a guest, please don’t hesitate to allow us the privilege of joining with you in prayer. Elder’s prayer is offered every Sunday morning in both services.
